Enter the dry pool to the left of the house, turn good around, and take the knob from the relief in the wall. To enter the house, use the key that's in your inventory when you start the game, then click on the door. Go up the stairs and into the door on the left. Go to the desk to your right and open the right drawer. Take the compass, the cylindrical lock mechanism, the book, and the candle. Open the chest and take the telescope and the candlestick.
