If you get shot in the leg, you hobble around for the rest of the mission; take one in the arm and you can't aim for anything. I have no doubt that Irrational tried to implement positional damage on suspects, but they didn't go far enough. If this is a realistic simulation of SWAT activity, then that realism should extend to the fact that shooting a suspect in the foot is always a nonlethal attack and that a seriously injured suspect is almost certain to surrender when ordered. |
