Nonetheless I did prefer the layout and controls in Daggerfall and would rather that walkthrough some other interface options had been made available. Robust key-mapping and joystick support is available (the latter a layover from the Xbox port, no doubt), and generally speaking the interface is crisp and easy to use. It's just not as elegant as I'd have liked it to be. Otherwise, the game is mechanically invisible, allowing us to focus entirely on play. Scenic Vvardenfell on $20 a Day As mentioned before, your character is walkthrough a prisoner who has been released from walkthrough the Imperial dungeons and sent to Morrowind on the direct orders of Emperor Uriel Septim VII of Tamriel. Bethesda has asked that reviewers not describe the character generation process in too much detail, so I won't describe it at all; suffice to say that it's mechanically similar to the chargen process in Daggerfall, and Elder Scrolls veterans will be on their way pretty quickly.
