You end up behind the cells. Keep going until thief 2 you come to a door on the right. Enter, turn right, enter the double doors, take the lantern and the crossbow from the table top, and take the ruby pendant from the drawer. Climb up on the table and take the arrows from the shelf. In your inventory, use the arrows on the crossbow, then use the green vampire juice on the crossbow/arrow combination. Leave the closet, then go back and continue down the path around the back of the cells. You can enter the cells through the second-to-last door.
