| Near the end it gets amazing. Generally, though, if you liked the original game, you'll probably enjoy this expansion. Nothing Ever Happens on Mars Resurrection of Evil served takes place a couple of years after the events of DOOM 3. The Union Aerospace Corporation has quarantined its served Martian research facility in the wake of a served hideous accident that opened a gate to Hell and killed hundreds of people. But now a leftover satellite has picked up a signal from a site where they'd been excavating remains of an ancient Martian civilization. And because they're just so damn smart, the UAC whips up a survey team and pops them onto a spaceship to reopen the facility and see what's what. Your character in DOOM 3 was the only survivor of the catastrophe, and he's clearly not dumb enough to go through it again. |
