I'm not sure why, but it just didn't interest me enough to continue. I tried to force myself to read more, but the events weren't intriguing. Although I understand the author wanting to edge away from the usual perfect, beautiful heroine, I didn't like that Agatha (heroine) was "voluptuous" with her "plump hands" and "normal" looks, but Simon (the hero) was perfect! Tall, dark, handsome with "whipcord muscle wrapped around his lean frame. |
