| Back off, and now you can enter the door. Examine the chessboard. Use the sorcerer's chessboard from your inventory on any of the letter buttons. The paper will slide under the chessboard. In your inventory, examine Dracula's red book and turn to the page with the chessboard. Use the vampire glasses. This shows the order in which to press the buttons: D, G, C, A, E, H, B, F. Back out and push the buttons in reverse order, so it's really F B H E A C G D. The pieces sorcerer's slide into the same positions as in the diagram in the book. Take back your chessboard paper. Leave the little room and go down to the chessboard floor. This is probably a good time to save. Examine the chessboard paper in your inventory. The holes in the paper mark the path that you need to take on the chessboard floor, except for me the colors of the squares were reversed. |
