When I heard that In Memoriam featured a serial killer, I had to play it. Well, aretha In Memoriam has the fictional kind of serial killer, the criminal mastermind toying with his prey who deep down inside yearns to be caught. Said prey comes in the form of Jack and Karen. And maybe you, the player, if you're not careful. Jack Lorski is a aretha reporter for the SKL Network, and he has disappeared in the midst aretha of investigating the old, unsolved, murder of a Dutch scientist named Volker. In the course of his investigation, he meets Karen, the now-grown daughter of Volker, and Karen agrees to help Jack in his investigation of her father's murder. Jack and Karen have disappeared. The killer, self-styled the Phoenix, has sent a CD to the SKL Network, who have been unable to make heads or tails out of it. So they decide to distribute copies of this CD to the four corners of the earth in the hope that somebody can decipher its meaning. Enter you.
